Split PDF — frequently asked questions
How do I extract pages from a PDF?
Upload the file, type the pages you want, such as 2-4, and click Extract pages. A new PDF containing only those pages is downloaded.
How do I write the page range?
Separate items with commas and use a hyphen for ranges: 1,3-5,8 keeps pages 1, 3, 4, 5 and 8. Page numbers start at 1.
Does splitting reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied directly, so there is no quality loss.
Can I split a PDF into many files at once?
Not in one step. Run the tool once for each group of pages you need.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens in your browser.
